All waste water from the lodge goes directly into our custom-designed Waste Water Treatment Plant. The plant consists of half a dozen aerated tanks, each of them teeming with natural bacteria that eat all the waste passing through the system. The end result is water, which is then released into a drainage field in the nearby meadows. The water is tested regularly to make sure that the system is functioning properly.
