Staff

All of the staff at Purcell Mountain Lodge are dedicated, well-trained professionals who are committed to the highest safety standards. Our guides are certified by a wide variety of organizations, including the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, the Canadian Avalanche Association and various advanced wilderness first aid associations.

Waiver

Due to the inherent risks of backcountry travel, every guest must sign this winter waiver or this waiver in the summer (Adobe pdf format), without modifications, before beginning their trip with us. We regret that without a signed waiver, we cannot provide you with wilderness programming or services. Please read through the waiver online before you book, but do not print it out and sign it; we will present you with a paper copy to sign when you arrive at the helicopter base in Golden.

Canadian Helicopters

Since we began operations in 1989, we have flown with Canadian Helicopters, one of the largest helicopter companies in the world. Their pilots are extremely well-trained professionals with many years of mountain flying experience.
